Call for projects: 2020 Taiwan VR Residency

Launch of the 2nd VR residency program in Kaohsiung, initiated by NewImages Festival, the Kaohsiung Film Festival and the French Office in Taipei.

In 2019, for the very first time, the Kaohsiung Film Festival (Taiwan), the NewImages Festival (France) and the French Office in Taipei have joined forces to set up a VR creation residency program. This year, for the second edition of the Taiwan VR Residency program, they continue the journey and offer one VR talent (French or based in France) this extraordinary opportunity.

With funding, mentoring and connection with the XR ecosystem in Taiwan, this three-month residency held in Kaohsiung will support the work of a VR creator, while fostering creative and innovative VR collaborations between Taiwan and France.
