Alain Damasio

Born in Lyon in 1969, Alain Damasio has been prancing on the peaks of make-belief since the 2004 publication of his second book, La Horde du contrevent, which was awarded the Grand Prix de l’Imaginaire. He explains his predilection for polyphonic tales and for physical work, the physiology of language, by a vital need to inhabit multiple bodies, and to let himself be inhabited.

After La Volte’s reedition in 2007 of La Zone du Dehors (Cylibris, 2001), a social science fiction inspired by Michel Foucault, he delves into radio and sound creation (phonophore.fr, Hacked Fragments of a resisting future, SGDL Grand Prize), and publishes in 2019, as always with La Volte publishing house, his third book, Les Furtifs.
