Diliana Alexander

Diliana Alexander is an award winning interactive storytelling producer and director, who hails from Toronto, Canada and now lives in Miami, Florida.
In 2012, she founded FilmGate Miami, a not-for-profit production studio, supporting innovative storytellers, who craft independent narratives.
She is also the Executive Director of the annual FilmGate Interactive, the first festival in the U.S. to solely showcase interactive and immersive stories, as well as the technology that supports them. In 2017, she founded the Downtown Media Center, a co-working space for media related businesses.

She is currently producing Stiltsville VR, a game/doc hybrid about the iconic houses on stilts in Biscayne Bay. Experienced speaker and festival programmer, Diliana is a visiting professor at Florida International University and Broward College.
