Mariana Irazu is a Venezuelan, US-based writer and mixed reality producer. She is currently a producer at 1RIC, the first exclusively narrative-based AR studio, with a focus on bringing underrepresented voices and stories to the public. At 1RIC Irazu produced A Jester’s Tale, which premiered at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival as part of the New Frontier program, and was called “Best augmented reality” by The Verge. Irazu has written for mediums including BBC MUNDO and Harvard Review of Latin America. She holds a BA from Bennington College.
