Augmented reality storytelling

The emergence of the “augmented reality narrative” inevitable challenges the relationships of stories to the places where they unfold. Storytellers, of all mediums, are incited to reevaluate the presence of a narrative when context becomes a protagonist. What tale can a space tell about itself? We turn to evaluate some of the tools that have enabled the unfolding of AR’s potential: volumetric capture, voice-enabled commands, user agency.
Once the hologram has left, which ghosts are able to remain roaming the space, having already altered the viewer’s relationship to the physical world?
